I have read many good comments about the AMR line of products. Discussion about the Giant Stick are mostly about the 50cc size. The 84" wingspan is more suitable for my needs. If anyone has a comment, opinion, photos or criticism of the 30cc size High Wing kit I would be glad to hear about it. It appears to be a version of the 30cc low wing stick with the fuselage inverted. For those who have built or had experience with the 84" wingspan size, is it constructed exactly like the 50CC 106" version? Any opinions of its flying characteristics would be appreciated too.

I have a build thread going on this kiit in the Giant Scale Forum here is a link to the thread. AMR High Wing Stick 30

The kit is very well designed and went together very quick. I am covering mine with fabric and will be painting this weekend. I have a DLE-30 for the front end. Take a look at the link above and let me know if you have any questions.
Later!!
Anthony

I've got a question on using wood glue on laminations... do you find that it warps the wood? I've always used epoxy for this, just to prevent warping that a water-based glue might do. Or am I just listening to an old wives tale?

It all depends on the wood being laminated. Anything 1/8" and thinner I use epoxy to prevent warping. The laminations on the Stick 30 are 1/4" pieces. I did not get any warpage from using wood glue.
