Status: offline 		i just finished building a copter x 450 pro v3.I used tower pro mg90 servos and a hitec aurora 9 radio.After swapping servo horns around the closest i could get the horns to 90 degrees is at 45 degree angles pointing slightly downward.now when you set the swash in the center of the travel does that mean between the top of the main shaft lock ring and the bottom of the washout base or the top of the main shaft bearing block and the bottom of the washout base? next i am using the E flight pitch guage made for my blade cp witch is a smaller heli so will this work for an 450? i am also sliding the guage all the way down to the center of the blade is the correct? then i replaced the main shaft lock collar with an E razor one witch is thicker but if i center the swash between the top of the bearing block and bottom of washout base.I can achieve 0 at mid stick and plus 10 at high stick but negative 8 at low instead of 10.i used no sub trim but even when i did to center the servose it did not help i am using a stock pitch curve that is preset with the heli part of the radio 0 15 34 54 72 88 100 i am sorry for the way i wrote this but but i am beaten from kneeling down constantly testing the pitch i need help

Status: offline 		i guess it did not help that i used the second hole in from the outside of the servo horn.So while i had to lengthen the servo linkage or the pitch linkage to get positive 10 once i go full negative the lengthened servo linkage does not allow the swash to drop enough to get negative 10.

Did you try adjusting your swash mix settings for pitch before you changed the length of the rods?  If not, maybe you should look at that.

I was hesitant to reply to this for setup is really my weak point, but Im learning more every time I tweak things or set up a new heli.  Also, I have Spektrum and wont be able to help you with anything in regards to your TX settings.

But, the 2 things that have an effect on pitch would be the swash mix "pitch" setting and the pitch curve itself.  Finless Bob's videos are a great resource for setup if you havent already seen them.

Status: offline 		well when i was using my copter x 9g servos i could have sworn that the pitch slider was jusr about hitting the top and stopping just before it slammed into the top.I also had the pitch mix left to the stock 60% all aound so i was thinking that those servose moved more than my new mg90's.But i rememberd that when installing the ball links in the mg90 servos.That i cracked the outer hole since i did not make them big enough for the ball screw.So basically it was like standing on the 8th step of the ladder instead of the 10th.You cant reach your target on the 8th step and stretching helped at the risk of falling off....(increase of swsh mix %)

Status: offline 		no he is getting +10 to -8  it could be if he doesnt have a flybar lock tool, i dont i  hold flybar check and recheck a few times, he could be deviating off level. eyeball pitch gauges arent the freindliest when you first start using them lol.

Status: offline 		No it was that my servo was not at 90 and my pitch curve was a factory supplied pc and it did not work for me.I fixed everything and am getting -3 at low 0 at mid and +10 at high in normal mode
