Status: offline 		I have a DLE 20 and want to mount the carb 180 degrees so the needles are on the same side as the cylinder head - this way I can run linkages to the choke and throttle without too much problem. It looks like the v shaped filter that the carb connects to and goes inside the crank case is the same on both sides.

Status: online 		On the 20, If you just rotate the carb itself, the impulse hole may not align between the carb and the reed block.

Confirm your inpulse passage integrety from the reed block to the carb mounting face..

Status: offline 		I put the engine in already, I'll just have to try it out. If this hole doesn't align will it degrade the way the engine runs - say it won't idel properly or tune or will it stop the engine from running all together. Anyhow if that's the case all I have to do is remove the engine and rotate the reed block and keep everything the way it is. This is nice - a .60 size plane that runs on gas, and the DLE 20 runs great not like all those inconsistant smaller gasser conversions.

Status: offline 		No problemo! Reed block has two vents so rotation is easy.



I see you also have the CRRC26 mounts....

Status: offline 		Protect the braid on the spark plug lead where it is touching on th cowl. A fibre glass cowl can cut through the plug lead in one flight.

Status: offline 		I'll put something rubber there to protect the wire. Yes I did use the mounts of the CRRC pro 26cc engine. I am going to install the 26cc in a China Models P40 (next Project) and that plane came with it's own mount. By the way that's a awsome plane - the Nitro Planes China Models 140 size P40 Warhawk. I was really surprised at the quality of the plane for $200. I got the ESM air retracts to go with it.
