Hi Guys,

i want show you any picturs from the new F-5 from Insider Modellbau from Switzerland.

The jet ist build for EDF but you can fit in a small turbine like Kolibri or Jetcat P20 without problems, and that what i do at the moment. Takeoffwight is with 500 ml Fuel 1800- 1900g when i finished than you get the right wight. Wingspann is 785mm an lenght ist 1430mm, the kit is very light all parts are only 680g

Take a look at the Pictures in the rc-network forum in Germany, klick here F-5

The Pictures start at Post nuber 6.

How can I fit in Photos in this thread?

Regards, Daniel.

What a nice little aircraft, do you think there is room for retracts in those wings?

Hi Daniel,

Very nice looking in the air! Are you flying it with the T25 you have or did you buy another engine for this one?

Now just pack your bags and aim for Sweden in late August

Wow sound really nice :-) A smoker sytem for the kolibri is really light, ads only about 100grams to the landing weight. I did use 120cc of smoke fluid, how much do you use? :-)

Hi,

I use the same Tank contents. What kind of smokefluod did you use?

My TOW is now 2.9...kg. On our grasrunway the F5 needs up 70m for lift of and than climbs vertical up into the clouds... I love my Kolibri

With the tanks an rockets theTOW goes up 3.1kg..

Daniel.

I use smoke fluid from CS turbine service in Sweden. It smokes like super dri but are a bit more fluid so that the pump does not work as hard.
