Status: offline 		can anyone tell me who produced this jet got it for a steal has all bvm ducted fan and spring air retracts all composite with foam sheeted wings that are permanent

The jet in the photo is a "Panthere" which was a limited production kit designed and sold in Canada. They were very popular in Ontario and Quebec several years ago and generally powered with a Dynamax fan and OS91 VRDF engine. 
Several have migrated stateside and I know of one that has been converted to EDF using the TAM 100 mm fan and 12S LiPos.  This particular model is owned and flown by Doug Ives in Scotia, NY and I'll contact him for the CG position and other features.  Note that the Tam unit is dropped in with no matched inlet ducting and it flies quite well in this configuration.

Status: offline 		That is one nice Panthere.  Love the way mine flies.  Both as DF and now as EDF.  I am using a CG point of 7" back from the lower lip of the inlet or 12 1/2 " forward of the trailing edge of the wing.  You inlet lip might be a bit different, so the measurement from the TE is probably better.

As Art said, I am using a TAM100 with a home made exhaust duct out of Lexan.  I like the thrust, but the jet lacks vertical.  I can perform an immelman, but not a loop.  Flying on 10 cells and 11 doesn't seem to make any difference.  I have been considering changing to one of the dynamax conversions sometime in the future to get a bit more thrust.

I removed the origional glass duct to save weight and installed my own lexan duct.  I am going to change the fan this winter to one of the Dynamax conversion possibilities out there.  MIght talk to TAM about that as well as research my own setup.  I am not happy with the power of the 100mm fan.
