hello buddy r/c boaters...question..what is the best way to connect a flex shaft to the propeller shaft...that will be the strongest .way to do the job .the flex shaft goes in to the sleve of the prop shaft.. soildering  or glueing what.[.i am kinda new to this kinda problem] . any help will help me thanks for your time and help...rick sterling

thats a big debate there do you want to open that can of worms lol. i say silver solder, some say they use a certain type of loctite over on offshore forums. and they have the step by step there if you go the loctite route. good luck

 Absolute best way is to buy the flex already soldered into the stub shaft. That is unless you are highly proficient in soldering.

sleeve retainer has been tossed around.=========silver solder wiith bottle inside for cleaning should do the trick.
