Haven't heard any flight reports yet but the weight reduction of approx 100g from the original Q80 is pretty impressive.

Woodie,

In fact not only the weight reduction, but the draw of amps seems very good...
I´m intend to buy one of this, but need to know more about it...

I THINK Andrew has been using the Q80 in his Spark Evo, but I don't know if it's the new one or not.

Hi,

Today I received my new motor HACKER Q80-13XS. At first look I was surprised with the quality of care in packaging and shipping. Opening the box I was amazed at the quality of the engine. It's amazing finish and design of this motor. I ran to the scale to verify the weight and to my surprise the engine complete with nuts and washers weighs 557 grams. Do not wait to complete the assembly of my new plane and test this motor that looks like a masterpiece.

Rodrigo, can you take a few measurements? I was very interested in this motor, but could not find any drawings. I am curious what the distance is from the drive washer to the front of the large diameter "can", etc. I was not sure if this motor would fit in my plane.

I have about 7 flights on the new Q80 13XS. Draw with a Falcon 21x14 is ~76A. It bolted in to the same mount as my original Q80 and it has great power. The plane feels a little "zippier" with it versus the old Q80. Mine was 96g lighter than my original Q80. This motor is a real winner in my opinion.

Thanks,

Yes, 10S. I have been using the F3A Unlimited 4900's and the Thunder Power 4400's.

Thanks,

Hello,

I ran a 14XS with my Arixtra, the weight is 77 grs lighter than the 11S (not 100 grs or more...............), the current draw is little less than 11S and with the 21x14 Ulsamer the rpm is 6300 with Thunder Power 4400 mah 10S.
