Don't worry. The next attempt is the one you want to see! Bruce's Delta Vortex looked awesome. Can't wait to see it powered by a pulse jet.

This question is to any pulse jet pilot out there: the videos I've seen on you tube make all pulse jet takeoff rolls look like a wild ride. Has anyone used a nose wheel gyro to try and tame that beast? Really, every launch looks like it could be the last flight!

Harry, you SILLY boy!!! You DO NOT need a nose wheel gyro for static display of the Delta Vortex with a pulsejet!!

Purchased a HiTec Aurora 9. It should be in by Friday. I'm looking for ward to trying this new transmitter out. I've read mostly great things about this radio. I purchased the telemetry kit as well with GPS receiver. Cool!

You guys are trouble makers.

Now I have spent several days researching pulse jets, filled out the AMA form, looking at airframes.........

Ever since I heard and saw my first one on a CL speed plane as a kid back in the 60s I've wanted one, You bozos have reawakened that interest.

Trouble, nutin but trouble I tell ya.....

Sadly, ZERO progress has been made since my last status update. In fact, its worse. PJH paid Jet Bill $400 for his new P-Jet back around the start of July. Bill said he'd have it in 3 weeks (yeah right!!!) Sometime around early September, I call Jet Bill and claimed I was a guy with $400 bucks burnin' a hole and I wanted a P-Jet, when can I have it in-hand. Bill did not flinch and told me to send the money and I'd have it in 2 weeks!!! Harry would not call Bill and compain and the situation has languished since.

Two days ago I finally called Bill (PJH would not do it) and asked him what the h__L???? He claims that his welder has malfunctioned and he is trying to get it fixed.

This, of course, does PJH absolutely no good. He is now talking about using the Dynajet (you know, the one he has NEVER EVER gotten to run adequately for flight). He'll have to break into that glass static display case!!!

No, looks like I had best go to Outback Steakhouse's web site and start pickin' out the highest dollar steak they got with all the trimmins'!!! And don't forget the Bloomin' Onion and 12 beers!!!! HA!

Wow, it has been three weekes since I posted that damning status update. I really thought that PJH would come on here and defend himself. But I guess he has resigned himself to the truth: he has lost. Time to start planning the next bet so that I can keep the parade of Outback steaks marching into my mouth!!!!
