Status: offline 		160mm is tight. That is only 10mm wider than a thundercat and it turns like a pig unless you run a huge rudder like I used too. My 7.5cc F1 is 36" long and 200mm tunnel width and that is just enough. An avenger has a 225mm tunnel width. Take an avenger which turns on a dime when setup right.

Avenger (44") 1118 x tunnel 225 = 4.96-1
TC31 (31") 787 x tunnel 150 = 5.25 - 1
Your cat (38") 965 x tunnel 160 = 6.03 - 1

but will soon see how it does once on the water that will be the best test but as you know its not just tunnel width that affects the way a hull handles 
im confident in the design and sure she will prove to be a solid performer 
Iv even got some FE components so could throw that in as a tester and will push the hull further and harder than any nitro setup
main thing is need to mould the hatch and a fully laid up hull and get busy setting it up

Hatch is now wetflatted and polished up ready for several coats of release wax and moulding 
Also prepping the moulds to layup a new hull with CF

Popped the mould today came out good next job is fine wet flat and polish it up ready to make the 1st hatch

Status: online 		Trimmed the hatch,wetsanded and polished it up came out really nice
also i noticed a couple of areas n the main hull moulds i wasnt happy with so sorted these aswell all thats left now is to do several coats of release wax ready to start laying up a complete hull with full layup

Layed up the 1st hull yesterday with full layup and carbonfibre should be ready in a couple of days to pop out and see how it looks 
Between me and a buddy of mine we got enough stuff to get it running the weekend if alls well and be able to test it and get some vids of it running  
couple of pics 
 
Pic of hatch out the mould,i used old catalyst by mistake so didnt go off properly 
Dont worry i chucked it when i realised so i didnt use it for laying up the hull
But this is how it came out of the mould

Just need to sand and polish the seam and see how it looks 
Overall pretty happy with it and this is my 1st ever moulds/moulded hull iv ever done and its come out real good so far

Its came out well for a 1st go looking forward to building it up now hopefully have this 1 running for the weekend but will be electric setup as iv got everything spare to do it this way
It weighs 1.8kg as it is
next job is get the seam sorted add transom reinforcment,clean it up then start putting it together

Status: offline 		What moor you plan on running. We are now laying up our cat at 2.1kg including engine rails, transom plate and bulkhead. 1.8kg for 38" boat is a bit heavy but then again it is the first one. You will quickly see how to reduce weight. most of the weight is sitting in the resin.

Now get it on the water so we can see how it runs. And don't hold back show every run no matter how it looks. I want to see if I i'm going to be your first customer.

Will be running leopard 4082,1600KV on 6s and x445 prop so should be pretty quick but ill gps the runs aswell as vids
Im not to worried about shaving weight etc at this stage 
I will get vids of every run this allows to study them and the when running then see what can be improved
Ill post some pics of setup once done aswell
