Judging by your wing panels you have opted for taileron control only for pitch and roll. I will be very interested in you tail plane travel settings. I stupidly gave my plan and hand book away and lost these settings. I had changed radios after an interval of bad weather and guessed the settings and almost lost the model. I use a Wren 44 gold which I have just removed to set up a BVM Maverick
Best of luck, Ron.

Hi Adam, re Maverick, I'm not there yet. My progress gets slower the older I get. Have you any references? Ron.

Took your advice Yellow Aircraft. Thanks for the tips.. Heres a pic of the tail pipe installed.. Next is to make the engine mounts to suit the VT80 which will sit a fair way back compared the wren 54 which was in my previous F/A-18..

Got a bit more work done this morning before going to work.. Made new turbine mounting bearers. Also glued the other wing spars in place..

Ordered Tyres and a sticker kit from Yellow Aircraft this morning..

Next thing is to finish glassing the wings and mount the missile rails. Then its pretty much time for final under coat and paint..

Also found a couple of pics of my old F/A-18.

If you can find a copy of this book you'll find it very helpful. It has a ton of detailed photos and includes dwgs.

It was helpful when I built my yellow single.

Hi Guys
just spotted this thread and now watching with interest. I have a YA18 single in the loft and am planning to build it with a Jet-munts vt 80- when I get through a back log of models that I have to build. Picked the kit up about a year ago very cheaply as part of a clearance lot. Needless to say there were a few minor bits missing such as the instruction manual which I have managed to obtain. Have to say that RCU has proved very helpful with some very knowledgeable people out there.
