I've got two easy LiPo question for you guys...

1: When my brother in-law upgrades his Stampede to LiPo, will a 20c LiPo be sufficient enough? It has a Sidewinder SV2 and a 4600kv motor.

2: When I charge my Dynamite 5300mah LiPo, it will not charge to 5300mah. It stops at about 4800mah. Why is that?

what mah is the 20c batt? if it's 5k or above he should be fine.

your batt stops @ 4800 because it's not 100% empty, if it was it would be dead. low votage cutoff leaves some juice in there to protect the pack.

As above. Only I'd say even a 3500mAh pack at 20C would not be strained in that application. Anything higher of course is gravy.

The 20c lipo for the stampede is a 5000mah.

as for the charging, sounds good. I just wasn't sure as to why it was not topping out like the other lipo

Just don't worry about it as long as the runt battery continues to charge and balance without issue. Maybe you got a weak one, it happens.
