Default HOBBY KING 1300mm Lancaster LEMON Hobby Kings worst release yet ?

Hi
I have been following the release of Hobby king's Avro Lancaster on RC GROUPS.COM and was shocked and dismayed that when people who had spent large amounts ($250++)of cash to buy it ended up with a model riddled with problems.

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...12793&page=105

The packaging they sent these lame ducks in was quit frankly a joke as i have received models bought for $99 with better packing

Problems like Cheap ESC's that caused the motors the surge ,damaged fuselage, low quality glue used on hinges and other critical points, bent control rods ,landing gear collapsing ,bad servos.
Quit a few people crashed there models on there maiden flight because the motors surged because of cheap nasty servos so these people have lost $250 ++ worth of there hard earned cash.

Having had run ins with hobby king's so called customer care myself im sure they will be geting little to no compensation for there wrecked planes.

Anyway one of the many angry buyers of the hobby king AVRO LANCASTER made a YOU TUBE video so i thought i would post it here to show my support and warn people who have less experience dealing with hobby king.

Maybe you should start out with a trainer and work up to a multi motor warbird. If you see something that obviously won't work during assembly the smart thing is to fix it.

We pay FULL PRICE in the USA, for what is SUPPOSED to be a quality product.

So do we in the UK cyclops2,from what i've brought off HK i've been more than happy with and i've been shopping with them for over 5 years now,i've got a few Durafly planes in my hanger too which are better than some of my more expensive planes, you will always get the odd few people that are not happy for what ever reason won't you.
That thread is full of people who are more than happy with there Lancaster and like someone else said on here, maybe some people shouldn't try to go fly a plane that is out of there ability.
Just say.

I bought a $120 RTF dynam off nitroplanes, and the packaging it came in was 100 times better than what that plane came in. Those "air bags" wont keep the box from getting damaged, let alone the plane.
It should have had molded foam packaging that kept each part in place.
