Where are you folks getting your "Bow and Arrow" shafts from for the Screamin Demon. What Brand?

The ones that Mike C sent out with the first kits were marked "carbon Venture by Beman" .29 outside shaft diameter.

Here is what Mike told me about arrow shafts:

You can actually often find the arrow shaft spars at Walmart's sporting goods section. They are standard 340 weight CF arrow shafts (lower numbers = stiffer).

Thanks Dave that's great info, I had no clue other than the outside diameter he used and that they were arrow shafts.

I know at least on guy who built one went with carbon fiber strips and a shear web, rather than the arrow shafts, for construction it seemed to work well.
I think he went with carbon tubes for the leading edge as well, there have been many variations and modifications made over time since the original design.
I am building one now and have come up with at least three things I will do differently on the next one and this one isn't even finished yet.
