Hi

What effect would a  slightly lose tail rotor fixture on the shaft, have on the flight of a helicopter ? I struggle to keep my helicopter going straight when going forward , it tends to start circling ? Any ideas ?

thx

Rahil:

BarracudaHockey's reply to you was NOT a question. It is a statement.

I will add that any play in the rotating parts of a helicopter will lead to eventual failure of that component. There is some inherent play at some parts of the helicopter, like gear mesh, control arms, ect. But rotating assemblies that have play will cause failure. Maybe not tomorrow but it will fail eventually.

Rafael
