Rob,

Nice offerings. I read some where that you will be offering other kits as well. When will those be available?

To post pics you will need to use or click the reply or quote buttons in the upper right corner of a post.

This will open up reply to message window with options to upload pics at the bottom of the text box.

Personally, my experience is the magic is a nicer plane to fly than the curare. Dont ask me why as ive spent a long time trying to iron out my curares wrinkles. Even gone as far as far as using a curare wing on my magic (which still flew well proving to me the wing wasnt the issue). I suspect the higher horizontal stab position on the magic makes a difference.

Rob, good looking glass work. Other kit providers are running strips of carbon fiber in strategic areas. The kits that I have purchased like that look very good.

That is a good price for the  Curare.  I am sure you will have a waiting list of customers.       I flew the Magic back in the 80's  and loved the way it tracked in the loops.   With the pipe tucked into the fuselage, the plane was plenty fast.     I  also found the flaps  really  helped in the landings.

And dumping the exhaust out the bottom of the fuselage really did save  cleaning up after flying.   There was a question as to the effectiveness of the anhedrial in the stab.   I never built one without the anhedrial so I can't attest to the effectiveness of it.   I just know the plane tracked very good.

We really need some new  rear exhuast engines  and  headers to go along with them.    I am sure that until the pattern parts become
available again,  the growth of  the Classic Pattern will be slow.     As for myself, I 'm going to use my OS Max .61 SF with without a pipe.  I just need to decide which plane I want to use.   It just may be the Curare.

Picco had a great rear exhaust  60 engine.  It was really strong and had the inflight fuel mixture.   It's a shame that they only make motors for cars now.

Frank

Thanks, I have a brand new fuse that was bought way back by a local hobby shop owner, but the wings had been sheeted with ply and contact cement that came unglued.

790,

Post number 38 is the Super Curare. The Super Curare has the canopy outline. PM me for HRDFLITE's phone number.
