Trying to setup my retract system on my Seagull Models Pilatus PC-9 1.20...While playing with my landing gear quit retracting (nose wheel works). My transmitter battery was getting very low...could that be the issue or is something else going on. I can get my nose gear to retract but for some reason the ones on the wings won't.

Please if somebody has had the same issue or knows a fix let me know. Checked the receiver battery, more than enough juice.

No your transmitter battery would not cause that. If the signal is getting out it is getting out, if its not its not.

Not familiar with the Seagull model PC-9 retracts. Are they mechanical, electric, or pneumatic ??

Appears servo is locked....I have gone through (x2) JR RT-88 servos before the plane has even hit the air. Those nose gear locked after about 5 retracts and now the wing gear...JR RETRACT SERVOS SUCK!!!!

I beleive JR retract servo's can only take 4.8 volts, any more will cause it to crap itself. Better off getting a good metal gear ball bearing servo and use that so can adjust the end points.

Yep, tried everything and servo is locked. I can't believe I spent almost $100 on two servo's that lasted less than 15 cyles. At least this happened during the building phase and not on a landing when flying.

This is not a happy JR customer right now.

Yep, if your using a 6v receiver battery then they are toast. My friend just went through 2 before he read the box 4.8 only! Sorry for the loss. Dumb they don't make it clearer with big red words

Checked on the net and they are rated between 4.8 - 6 vlts. I will be attending my LHS to see what is going on since they sold me the servo's and battery indicating all would be good.

Well its does state 4.8v to 6v for RT-88 retract servo, other versions NES 513, 713 & 791 says to use 4.8V. I have only ever used Hitec retract servos in the past, the 4.8v always turned me off JR versions. But why is the RT-88 dying all the time, are you over driving it in either direction? Can you adjust the end points on the RT-88, on the Hitec servo you cant, but Spektrum version you can.
