so, i was going through a pawn shop and saw these two little rc's. the cool thing was one was a brat, the other i actually dont know XD. so it was spraypainted and i can  tell. so this brat was sittin ther and i asked the guy how much. he said 40 for them both. now i was a garage sale freebie kinda guy. if i wanted it i got it myself. so instead of buying it, i gave him my old ds lite. we shook, he threw in some controllers and i went home.

now the tear down.
so i popped the body of and i get this real pretty tangle of wires. this is so old its manuel speed with porcelean capicitors. as is the green one. so right of the bat. the first reason the price was low was cause he thought the front right a arm was bad. tighten the bolt and she steers. but i add power and i get nothing. the wires are otay, and all, the servos turn, problem is i dont know why the drive moter isnt working. so i am going to research later see what i can find.

the green one
this guy is a disastor. the tranny is siezed up, the moter with a nine volt hooked up dosent work, the wires to the caps are melted, and both rear a arms are broke, the body is shot, and the front suspension is seized. oh and the tires are dry rotted. so this one is the one i hop up.

btw, i couldnt fit the last pics of the controllers srrys

Well at least you know the green chassis is either a frog, blackfoot, brat, or any other variation of that stuff. I hate working on those gearboxes!
