Status: offline 		 I have a MaxAmp 12v power source 47A/575W and have no problems with it. I’m moving up to 5C 5000mAh batteries and need more power – volts. I haven’t read of this power source on either Pattern treads and wanted your opinions. Seems good to me but I’m knew at this stuff.

Status: online 		Looks like a computer/server power supply. I have used a couple of these conversions at 12 volts and 45-50 amps rated and they have not served me well. They both shut down often using a CellPro 10S before the charge cycle is complete. Don't know why and this one may be fine but I've had better sucess with other power supplies than server units.

Status: offline 		They look (and have similar specs) like server power supplies, except in a prettier package. IMO, much better than computer desktop power supplies. Many are used for hi power applications and have much success.

Status: offline 		Looks like the HP600 psu. Built one in the fall for peanuts and have lots of time on it. Lots of info on rc groups. Requires opening and reworking that some aren't comfortable with.

I build charging box in 12 and 24 v 225.00 for the 12 and 325 for the 24v so you can install your charger and have everything organize

I am using a Meanwell power supply from ProgressiveRC.

I am running 2 x CellPro 10XP chargers off this unit and it can easily handle four 5000mAh 5S batteries @ 2C.

ProgressiveRC is not the cheapest, but the prices are reasonable, shipping is super-fast and the customer service is second to none.

I really like the Iota power supplies. I have the 55-amp version and it has served me well for several years. I can charge 4 5,000 mAh packs using my two Hyperion DUOs in ~45 minutes (1C rate from normal discharge point).

Hi Rudy,

The Meanwell switch mode PSU's are good units. Try EP Buddy or eBay for a PSU. I have a 600W 24V (set to 27V) MW PSU that works very nicely with my TP820. Bought it from eBay for $100.00.
