Status: offline 		The Farview RC Flyers is pleased to be hosting the Farview Flyers Summer Afterburner jet event August 2nd through August 5th! The smooth grass runway is really great this year! The runway is 300 feet wide and 1000 feet long. We regularly fly sport jets as well as the most complex scale jets. And we have been having a great time flying so far this season!

We are located a few miles from Cabela's and about an hour from Hershey Park! Right off Route 78 in Hamburg, PA. Bring the family! Onsite camping (no hookups) and concession stand.

Bring your turbine powered aircraft, ducted fans and EDF's for a great time in August!

Flying every day from 9am until dusk. Electrics with lights after that!

Lost an old family friend over the weekend so tomorrow night we'll be going to his viewing than Thursday it's off to Denver than Sonoma the folowing week.

yes sorry I missed you in Norwalk. I had my daughter with me & it was all about the kids that weekend. Cedar Point, Kalahari, and the 150 degree track on saturday. Stayed in Harry Lartigue's aircon most of the time we were there. Have fun out west. Please say "hey" to Lewis for me. Check out my friend Linda's restaurant while in Denver. Not far from the track. Status: offline 		Bob, SS will miss the event. Might be there in the fall. I'll be in touch by email wih everyone tonight. My pc had a virus and I found it while I was updating the iPad for the Spektrum TM equipment changes so we could play with it while at the event. Took a week and getting Kaspersky installed after Norton let the virus in past my firewall.

Status: offline 		Great day at Farview yesterday! Perfect weather and 14 turbine pilots. And spectators showed up thinking there was an event going on! Many jet fights were had, Erik with the Miss America Firebird, Alan Hoes with the F18 and Kincat, Don with his Ultra Bandit, Walt with the Reaction ARF, Marvin with a Boomer, Kevin with the Dragon and the list goes on.

The field is on great shape and we are really looking forward to the Afterburner in 2 weeks! I'm sure next weekend will be busy also with guys trying to get some flights in before the big event!

Status: offline 		I have my fingers crossed.  I plan on coming, but depends on getting a replacement axle on my trailer !  It bent for the second time and the manufacturer refuses to consider it warranteed.  JERKS.  So looking for one a bit heavier and hope my dealer can get one installed before next Wednesday.......
