I would just like to say,   I've heard a lot of people complain about the  AMA   and how they wouldn't even belong if they didn't have to.    Some have even stated that they refuse to join.

The AMA has done a lot of good for the hobby since it's inception.    Without the AMA,   a lot of use would not have fields to fly on today.

The people at the AMA   HQ    are a great bunch of people and I respect what they do for us.

Keep up the good work   AMA.

Frank

It's been 3 weeks.

Still no plans.

No word from Airage.

I just sent Airage a email asking about the status of my missing Miss Gemini plans.

Jeeeez you called them, after much prompting? They agreed to fix the problem, and your still not happy? What do you want, the plans for free?? Acknowledge the good customer service and move on. No one is perfect, not even you.

Vince

I wouldn't be happy. Most people are perfect at doing bone simple tasks, such as making sure that a copy looks like a useable plan. It's a hassle to have to deal with issues that you shouldn't have to. Let's see, the last time I painted a room I should have painted half of the ceiling. After moving all their furniture back in place, I should have told them that I didn't want to hear one iota of complaints about them having to go to the hassle of moving it all again, so I can come back in 3 weeks and finish the other half that I missed, after making them wait 3 weeks after paying me in the first place to paint the first half.

Yea...what's up with that???

We've already given AMA forgiveness, praise and kudos for their screw up.

Dang, can't he see we've moved on now, since the thread has been well on it's way onto a whole other tangent... ripping Airage... providing the desired contrast to the incident with AMA, that any loyalist should appreciate...

Still no word from Airage on the missing Miss Gemini plans. No call backs, no return emails.

I called today and was told that the shipping dept handles these problems.

Funny noone ever told me that before.

I gave my contact info yet again and was told that my info would be giving to the shipping dept and someone would call me back.

I took a little initiative and got the number off the envelope that the plans came in and called them also.

No answer so I just left a message for them to call me back.

Hey I'm not ripping airage or intentionally providing cover contrast for the AMA.

It's just Bill and I had plans problems at the same time. Airage did I great job with the 3 plans that I ordered along with the missing set. I got them quick also. However the missing set situation
is taking way too long to get sorted out.

Here is the post where we ordered the plans back on July 4th. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_11141360/anchors_11141360/mpage_1/key_/anchor/tm.htm#11141360

Looks like everyone's orders worked out great save for my problem with the Miss Gemini.

I got a package in the mail today!

My guess was right on the Miss Gemini.

I sent them an email and told them a substitute set of plans would be OK.

I got the substitute set in and I'm happy with it.

Took a bit to get this order right but Airage did come through for me.

I wonder if it would make sense for these companies that have plans to go completey digital. I know there would be some upfront cost, but to provide everyone with the option to download a CADD file seems like the wave of the future. And most CADD programs now come with a free viewer package that could be sent along with the .dwg file or a PDF viewer. I like the idea of hard copies sent, but so much better to have an electronic copy.
