Hi Georbeckha:

thanks for the video. Yes, that was us from FEJ. it was a first flight that I did not know the nose wheel pull-pull wire was stuck on some where to cause gear not lock at down position. After that, I got some flight again. It was perfect.

Again, thanks for the video.

some photos during the day.

Anyone notice a small issue with this aircraft?
This large T-33 had this issue with a small mix error on the transmitter when the gear come up on takeoff, so did the canopy!
After 2 or 3 slow laps it was landed with no issues or damage at all.

After a quick reprogram it flew successfully again later on in the day!

George

Will there be any flying on Sunday? I wanted to come out and watch and try to sell my Tams F18 and Rhino but the weather was bad.

Looks like high windy and rain for Saturday

Billy,
Sometimes you just have to GO!
Very little rain Friday and Saturday. A little windy at times but plenty of flying all day both days.
This is one of my favorite places to fly and the Mich Jets crew does a great job.

You have a great team that work hard to put on a great event and it shows. Keep up the good work . I'll be back next year.

If you can, place your order early for more blue skys and less wind.

K.O.

Just came back home last night. We drove around10 hours to be home as we hit a traffic (an accident traffic to delay home more than one hour)
It is our first time to be at Michigan Jets. Wow, I would love to say George and all his crew are so sweat and did a great job for the event. We really enjoyed the event and would love to attend again next year for sure.
1. People are so nice and friendly there.
2. George and his crew are helpful anytime, anything you need.
3. long and wide run way, unlimited flying time.
4. very clean toilet and water allow you to wash your hands
5. free pizza when you are hungry (unlimited)
6. Super nice Saturday dinner (very good food)
7. Many gifts for all people there.
8.....
9............
....................
A lot to say, can't finish all.

We will see you all there again next year.

Thanks
James

Got in late last night. Lonnnnng drive home to central NC, but all the miles were worth it. Really want to thank George, Chris, and ALL the Michigan Jets Crew for putting on a GREAT event. This was my first time attending, and certainly not the last. Already making plans for next year and most likely will show up a few days earlier so we can get the family visitation stuff out of the way early!!!! In-Laws live in Detroit area,,,so,,,, Had for give up one of my days flying to go sailing. Naturally it would be Sunday when the weather was awesome!!!!!!! Sheeeesh! lol
For those who havent had the pleasure of attending this event, make plans for next year! George and the crew worked extra hard to provide one of the most flyer friendly events Ive ever attended. The hospitality they extended to us is second to none, and they really make you feel appreciated and welcomed. All around great event. Facility,,,Food,,,Host members,,,,,,,,,, Everything. With exception to the weather itself, it was a perfect weekend. And though it rained and blew a bit it didnt stop the flight line action.

Hats Off to all of you George. Thanks for picking up the torch of this event and running with it. Looking forward to seeing y'all again soon.

Larry

The last flight of Michigan Jets 2012 was the maiden of my X-treme F-4E on Sunday, Aug. 12.  The flight went well except for a collapsed nose gear on landing, not captured on this video.
