i am not carried by the main retailers. look at alternatives. i'm cheap, that's a pretty good clue right there.

Clueless. Sorry. I'm the only one guessing, someone else want to give it a whirl? Or just give it up! I can't think of a rc that is 1/8 scale, 4WD, Nitro, .21/.28 engine, cheap, not offered by main retailers, Huge tires, and is less than $500 rtr.

Well, they aren't skinny skinny, there just thinner that most off road tires.

Ok, it's got a racing truck body and looks simular to the Traxxas Slash, but it's not made by a brand that you'd think would make something like this.

I give you another hint. It's sold by Tower Hobbies, and is a pretty popular brand, but not nearly as popular as Traxxas or ae. Just keep searching.

seriously, that's your clue. people have been complaining about 1 being belt drive ever since it was released and i suspect the other was converted due to new competition that proved belt drive to be unnecessarily complicated.
