This plane has been in production since 2009 (if I'm not mistaken......) but I don't see many people flying them.

I've been thinking of buying one but first I would like to find out a little more of information about it. Is it a difficult plane to fly ? I was reading that the BVM model without the big underwing tanks would be a rocket.... Any bad tendencies ?

Thanks in advance for the input.

The BVM F-100 has not any bad tendencies. Quite the contrary.  The Hun flies very stable and like on rails. Simply brilliant.  Landing is a pleasure. Perfect landings need powermanagement (throttle) but it's not witchcraft. With 250mph and about 40pounds the Super Sabre is not a Rookieplane but with the wherewithal experiance the Hun is easy to handle. In spite of the full loaded weight the F-100 has not critical stall charakteristic. My first fly was a pleasant surprise.

Best regards from switzerland, Rainer Willisch

The Skymaster F-100 seems to be the unicorn of their product line. I've been interested in it, but there is little to no information.

Rainer.... thanks for the info. Beautiful plane by the way.

Dubd..... you are right. Very little info. I have several Skymaster jets and I have always been able to find tons of information before buying them. This time it seems not to be the case. Let's see if somebody else can give us some more feedback.

with the operable slats (leading edge) has the BVM F-100 a absoulte advantage compared to Skymaster at the approach procedure. The BVM-landing gear is the cream of the crop. Time and effort for build BVM is not to be sneezed.

stunningly: The  HUN is a legendary fighter and certainly the flagship of BVM Jets.
To built, the BVM F-100 gives a lot do. Anyway they fly a many of BVM Jets. And all BVM Super Sabre pilots are very happy about the flightcharacteristics and praise them landingproperties.
A Friend fly the Fly Eagle F-100. He don't like it do fly and in landingpattern it's a ****. Senn Reto, (Jetpilot from the swiss national team) flew his HUN and told the same.
I can't understand the big difference in flightperformance because the BVM F-100 is  a little smaller and heavier. This tell me, BVM has made aperfect job and create a great fighter.

best regards, Rainer Willisch

It is hard to understand that no one has experience with the Skymaster F-100. BVM's is well known, flies great, but is 4 times the price. Maybe Anton could speak of the number sold recently or someone who has built and flown one will chime in!
