I will pass this on to the programmers to take a look at.

A little more information, please. What browser? What server are you on? What forum do you have a problem? I checked 6 random forums and was unable to replicate the problem.

Hey Nathan,

I use Firefox 14.0.1 as my primary browser and IE9 secondary.

I frequent Beginners, Glow Engines, Kit Building and Questions and Answers accessed using the Firefox bookmarks bar - an RCU folder with a bunch of bookmarks for each of my favorite sub-forums. I hit the bookmark bar entry for RCU, I'm presented with a drop down of individual forum-specific bookmarks and select one (e.g. Beginners). That forum's thread list is presented with threads that have had activity since my last visit in bold. Before I leave I hit the "mark this forum read" link and all (except top exceptional threads) are displayed without the bold attribute. I close Firefox. Start Firefox. Select the forum using the bookmarks bar - the threads that were "bold" before my last browser session are now bold again.

HTH,

I'll try IE9 and see what happens.

BTW - don't remember with link to use to display a page that has the "server" name at the bottom.

IE9 Follow up ...

Works as advertised on IE9. I display Beginners - nothing is highlighted. I switch to Firefox and display Beginners - surprise - old entries are bold. I will do a couple of snips and post the images shortly.

Nathan - I incorrectly reported that IE9 worked as advertised. The IE9 session was a guest session, not SeamusG. I signed in as SeamusG and the problem appears to be the same.
