Your pilots look sharp and accurate for a JG1 or JG26 1943 or so pilot.

Let me know when you have a good 1/4 scale one with all leather gear for a late war 1945 JG301 project.

Got my gear in today. looks pretty good. This may turn out to be a good sized plane. The gear is 12 inches long...just like they should be.

Looks they will lift the model to a nice height.... Mine are enroute but I did receive the Robart 160 tailwheel today.

Top Flite planes are great! I have the P-47 and also had the Mustang and P-40 (traded the latter two for a jet) and they all fly great. The pricing is a little high on the FW 190 but it's sure to be another winner. I will have to drop some cash on this plane and hopefully be the first at my field with one just to get the ooos and ahhs from people...lol.
I really hope that TF will come out with a GS Hellcat next! I don't see many of these unless you are ready to build from a kit (my painting skills are lacking) or downsize to a Hanger 9.
I have a Dragon German pilot figure (Blonde Knight) that needs a home and hope he will be the right size for the FW.
Good luck with your builds!

John

I'm hoping that the supplied spinner is scale enough...your spinners both look great...I still want a three blade though

Top Flite is listing a optional 3 Bladed Spinner, not available yet but looks like they will be later.

I wonder how far out the ARC of this kit is. I ended up canceling one plane so I can get the ARC down the road.

hey ram i like your forums im new at this forum stuff i am putting together d9 dora i sure need some input in this plane? i really would like to puchase that spinner with those cooling blades and what size is it. i have already got the cockpit kit for it. i have a dle55 the new one andi am debating on the retracts sierra electrick or air. i talked to ty last nite about the esm d9 he could not talk long so i am hoping i can get some help and input? i have already built a beaver from esm and it was a bugger of a build. it did not scare me to jump on another esm? and i am a big german fighter fan. ta152 is my faverite. if your on another forum somewere tell me i know this is a tf fw 190 forum dont want to blow this one up on the dora. thanks if you want to help that would be a blessing.  mike?

Hey mike. Here is the forum for the ESM Dora. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10423070/tm.htm

Everything I know on it has been posted there, You can always shoot me a PM with specifics. The fan unit is not accurate to the Dora but if you want it, Fighteraces.co.uk sell them for about $250.. Yeah, they're pricy units but well worth it if you want that aggressive appearance and scale looks.

As for gear.. If I can get Sierras in the plane, that's the way I go! I'm also a huge fan of the TA152. I'm in the list for JG's (Fliteskin) new version being built with a glass fuse and wood wings. He has a forum on site of it.
