I know there was a post about this made a while back but the only one i could find is in the HPI MT forum, so here goes a new one! Let's see your workshops, storage areas, hangars, whatever! We just moved into a new house and since it has a nice waterproofed basement with a large wall-mount dehumidifier, I decided to put my workshop down there. It is mostly set up now, some things are not unboxed yet, and this picture does not show the big 8'X4' Traxxas banner to the left or the magazine racks and magazines to the right. Above the buggy, under the next shelf, is a nice 18" flourescent light for display purposes, but it puts too much glare in the pictures with this cheap phone camera.

Your's put mine to shame. I already have blue prints of my workshop when we move. I'll negotiate 1/4 of the garage and make my own shop, with AC in it of course. ;-)

Until then, here is what I have. It's functional enough and we like it (except for the dang heat!!)

Those are street tires. I started wearing the pins down on the off-road tires by driving on the asphalt so got a paid of OFNA on-road tires for going up and down the street...and I love them. ;-)

y'all slackin', 5 shops and not 1 drill press? what the @*#&? both of mine are far too messy to take a pic of right now. i have an actual shop that's about 20x35 with a 8x12 room (both edge-a-ma-kate-ed guesses) in the northwest corner. it's not heated, it's not cooled and it's not sealed from the elements or wildlife. my adjustable lamp currently has a lot of bird poop on it. as far as tools go, i have 2 bench grinders (one with actual bench wheels and another with angle grinder wheels(my great grandpa's doing, not mine)), a benchtop wire wheel, benchtop drill press, cheap harbor freight welder, a few torches (propane, a cheap and broken oxy-mapp torch and a butane pencil torch), an angle grinder, a dremel, a small selection of hammers and a bunch of other random hand tools. my other work area is my room, which currently makes my shop look like a freshly cleaned operating room. up here, i have a 22" 720p lcd tv with rabbit ears (yeah, i know, so fancy ), a stereo from the late 80's/early 90's that'll shame some brand new units (if i go past 1/3 volume, it makes things shake) and a well worn recliner which also happens to be my bed (yeh, i'm livin' the life, aren't i? )

Haha thanks for showing and thanks for the compliments, guys! Those look great!

Edit: Forgot to mention, all of my banners are from the first track we ever ran at, our old home track "Classic RC Raceway" which has since been closed down. Now we drive 30 mins as opposed to 10, but oh well! I saved these banners when I made one last visit to the old facility, the JConcepts and the Traxxas banner still have dirt from the old track on em too. Memories!

I wish I could but that will never happen I would give my left arm for a 1/8th scale Evo VIII body.

Kyosho got one for the DRX But that is 1/9th scale, but still pretty much larger than 1/10.

Same wheelbase as a Traxxas Slash, just skinner. Just looking for a body for the GT2?

Might be able to help you out

Is hanging my r/c on strings a good idea to keep flatspots from forming on the tires?
