Status: offline 		I will be flying at the NAMFI warbird event this year (Friday and Saturday) and will bring my camera and try to post some pictures here of the event. (I haven't quit the hobby as has been reported). We have a great group of people that show up every year from across the US and Canada. The facilities are great and the club puts on an excellent event. Looking forward to flying with my friends again from WI, CO, AR, OK, IA, and Canada.

I thought since you quit the hobby that your spitfires were for sale (Cheap). Be good to see you again. I blew up the gear a couple of weeks ago on the zeke and just got new gear in. Plus Gear doors. You'll have to check it out.We just got done with the electric event. 150 pilots and hundreds of spectators. Field looks good, food was good and a nice segway into next weekend.

Status: offline 		One of two events (Fond du Lac being the other) that I attened in the midwest last summer. Holy cray was it fun. Everything was great! The people, the venue, the weather, and did I say the people!!! Just fantastic and made a bunch of new friends. Lots of great planes and flying. The spectators were super people as well. And the Hosts....oh my gosh they are top notch. The onsite food was unbelievable!

To all my fellow r/c enthusiats these events and the people are not to be missed out on. If you have the chance you should go.

It kills me to say I'm too busy this year with work and family to commit to this trip but I will be back in the years to come.........yep all the way from sunny Florida!

Have fun guys, wish I could be there,

Status: offline 		I've decided to 'head out' tomorrow morning (Tuesday), get there in the evening and set up and start flying Wednesday morning. I've got everything done with nothing to do at home and, since I have to drive 1700 total miles, I'm getting there early to make the 'most' of it.
If you're in the neighborhood, stop by for some early flying.

Sorry for my lack of patience, but experiencing NAMFI vicariously through RCU is tough for those who have attended in the past and experienced the event. It's an awesome weekend and I can't wait to see the models that showed up this year!

Status: offline 		Great time by all the colorado gang. I think there were six of us from Colorado.

As anybody knows about this event, it is for the warbird pilot who loves to fly fly fly. The field was perfect. The food is out of this world. Non stop fantastic food from 7 Am thru dinner.

One of the things I love is all the new , scratch built and designed planes. Yep, there are still builder/modelers out there. Carl never ceases to amaze us all with the fantastic planes he designs and builds. And he is not the only one.

Kinda missed Jeff's new 12 foot Spitty. I would love to see it fly with the big 220 ZDZ in the nose.

This is a must attend event for anybody close to Minn. Tim and Karen are fantastic hosts !!!!
