This past Sunday, one of the guys gave his F-18 the maiden with
one of those 180's. Excellent flight characteristics. Plenty of power.
This jet is in the 40+ pounds.

Barry,

I know with all the exciting info to pass on about our newest member to the KingTech Family, you forgot to mention the temp probe is internal as well. I don't think installing a turbine can get any easier, 1 fuel line and 2 wire harnesses!!!

No no, this is not meant about you Yiming, it was meant as a joke with Jamie.

Wflyer... yes the intention is that I will hopefully be selling this turbine. I do like to have some first hand experience of the products that I sell, so a turbine is on its way to me now. I ran a K80 in a Tomahawk viper jet last year and that went well ( Still going out in India ) and now I want to see how the bigger brother preforms.

Regards Al

Holy cow I need to pay more attention to details, I didnt even notice the temp prob was inside LOL thats awesome since I really had to work to get my 170 back under everything when I switched turbines. That is just fantastic, cant wait to put one of these in a 1/4 scale F-14
Hey Barry any idea if the current turbines will eventually move to this same design?

1/4 F-14??? I assume you meant F-16. With your F-15 and F-14 on the table, when will the big F-16 get in the air?

Eventually Keith, but not anytime that soon.

Barry, is there a remote I/O board, or does the hand held display have to plug into the ECU?

Besides an ECU battery pack of course,

Sean, the GSU with a 3-pin JR connector would have to be plugged into the ECU via Data T/PC port.

I'll put some laps on my F-14 in honor of your service. My best bud just got back from Afghantistan and said the tour was far better than he expected. I wish the same for you. Ironically, my wife going to Iraq was the reason I got into this hobby.
