Status: offline 		Has anyone put a xtm 24.7 on the savage, the new on with the bigger cooling head. I have put them on tmaxx's before but have never heard of anyone on the savage. I am waiting on the hobby shop to get my savage ss in and was considering putting the 24.7 on it without even trying the hpi .25, since I have heard nothing good about this engine yet.

Status: offline 		And yes it has been done. As for the "HPI" .25 it is made by Ofna and is the same as the Force .25 with a different color head and different carb. I have a Force .25 and the only problem I had with it is the break-in time and the pull start. Break-in took almost a gallon and even now it is difficult to pull although it starts in one or two pulls. It runs great and has a ton of power.But, seeing how you already have a great engine I would sell the HPI .25 and get some money back!
