That Super Bandit will probably be familar to a few of our US friends as it was built and flown by Dave Carter before coming over here. This is a picture of David with it at Lake Wales in 2002 alongside his Bobcat . . . . . look who else was at the same meet!

I'd love to come along to this one, but at the minute Im not sure if Im going to have anything to fly, is it possible for me to venture down as a spectator as a non member?? or if I manage to get my Flash sorted, come along, join on the day and fly?? Sorry to be a pain, I know Ive left it a bit late, just trying to get the Jet fixes in before winter grounds me to a halt in the annual Yorkshire ice age

Kind Regards

Jame

Jame,

You are more than welcome to come. All we ask is that you email Roger, our secretary, on roger.kilbey@btinternet.com to let him know you will be coming. If you want to fly you have to be a member of the JMA and if necessary you can join on the day.

Geoff.

I would, but I promised my daughters the sea side! LM does not quite have the same draw as Lyme Regis...

Nothing to see there, it's just a 10 yr old relic being pushed around the sky by an ageing steam engine from Holland.

Roll on Long Marston, although Jamie and Geoff don't know it yet there is going to be some "giving the Bandit death" competitions and they WILL be taking part!

I have just squeezed the tail cone in a bit on the 140, it running hotter and I this I might have found me another 2mph be ready Gents!

Jetrebel,

I was going to write a witty reply but that would be 10 minutes of my life I couldn't get back so I only have a few words to say to you.

Sad...very Sad

I hope to drop by Saturday afternoon for a chat & beer.
Due to losing both parents recently I've not touched the jets since last year.
Hope to get back into it 2013, double garage workshop conversion being done now.

The only thing I'm modelling at the moment are "Y" Fronts !

No No Dick, Animal was the one talking to us at jetpower about the times he wears womens underwear, not Jamie. Quite why he mentioned it is beyond me.

And even if one of you raving transvestites were to wear womens enderwear, you still aint polishing my relic!
