I've recently bought a Futaba T8J (http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/images/FUT.T8J.jpg) and its receiver.
I have to use it for my robots, so I never used a Futaba controller for RC cars or airplanes and the usermanual it's very difficult to understand for me since it uses technical words which I can't understand.

What I'd like to do is to be able to configure the upper sticks (such as stick A, B, C, D, E, F, G or H) to act like a ON/OFF switches.
In particular, I need to configure at least two stick to act like switches.

Can you help me to understand how to configure them, please?
I need some kind of step-by-step procedure since I really can't understand how to do it by reading only the manual.

I think the manual is not entry-lever but for expert users and I'm not

Thanks for the support!

We believe you are asking if the switches on the top of the transmitter can be used as switches. They already are switches. However, you are probably asking for how to connect a device to the receiver that will turn on and off when you move those switches. You will need to purchase a device that plugs into the receiver and will then act as a switch. Channels 5-8 can be configured to operate off of any of the switches. You use the AUX-CH function to do this. Please refer to page 43 of the instruction manual.

No you can't use FASST receiver with T8J transmitter, but you can use S-FHSS receiver.
