I have a dilemma. I have a Brison 2.4 but no aircraft for it. With offerings in the 30cc and 50cc class aircraft, the 40cc class has gotten lost in the mix. So I thought I would put it out the community, what aircraft would you recommend for a Brison 2.4? Scale or sport, just something that flies well and is different than the usual Edge, Extra or Yak. I look forward to everyone's answers. Thanks.

I am putting my 2.4 in this: http://shop.aztechaeromodels.com/Slipstream-30cc-RV8-AA-ARF-SS-RV8.htm

Since I know the importer personally he has assured me it will be a good combo...

I've got a Fox 2.4 (pretty much the same size engine) in a Vailly Aviation 1/4 Scale Stinson L-5 that weighs 25lbs. This plane is a tan, and the 2.4 pulls it with authority. It swings a Mezjlik 20X10 at 7300rpms all day long. This engine is surprisingly very fuel efficient for a 39cc engine. It would make a great engine for a 1/4 scale Cub or Birddog as well as any 1/4 scale WWI aircraft. I'm not an IMAC pilot, but I would think any 80" aerobatic plane would be a good choice.

I have two of the older Brison 2.4 engines. Excellent, smooth running engines! These make great engines for some of the 30 sized warbirds as they offer the necessary nose weight needed in these birds with more power than most of the newer 30 - 35 class engines. These also fit in the larger 30 sized aerobatic planes. If you look around, there are quite a few planes that are really too large for a 30 but not quite large enough for a 50 .... the 2.4 fits these planes well. Aeroworks makes a couple of older 35 sized planes that fit this requirement.

I have one of my 2.4s mounted in a big Monocoupe D145 and the other one is looking for a home.
