Alright guys just got a new body and wanted to know what steps should i fallow to make it perfect? paint first? stickers first? Drill the holes for the body posts first? Im asking all the pros out there how they do it. Any input will be appreciated thanks. Rion

Holes always first... cut the wheel wells too. (you don't want to scrape the inside of your newly painted body with scissors.
then paint one dusty coat, let it dry for 15 minutes, another nice layer... let dry etc...

Also just lay the body on the chassis with the wheels on,

check they line up then check your body post's...

mark with a marker on the outside of the body where the post's are (do not remove protective film) drill holes and cut out wheels like fdjizm stated..and paint it

Stickers are final stage

Send a pic to show it off ...

Make sure you sand and wash the body before painting.

looks pretty good. why'd you go with black?

rx7devil210 -> RE: Just got my new body 200mm (10/7/2012 9:52 PM)

Because i used to have a fd couple years back and it was black. I didnt have black wheels tho.

sand it wet with 1200 grit or 1500 grit. then spray light coats of paint. Trim it first through, but trim it piece by piece so you get the fitment right.
