Hope someone can help me? got two servo wires, n a seprerate red n black with no connector coming out of each wing. I'm assuming one servo for ailerons, 1 for retracts, n 1 for retreact power (red & Black?) What voltage is retract? 12 volt OK? or seperate battery. I wuoldn't use the ubec on ESC, I would tap in south side of esc if 12 volts is ok. Here's a pic...... I hpoe.
Anyone one give me any help here?
Thank You.

I assume that you've bought the model second hand, so you'll need to get into the wing and see exactly what's been done and find out what goes where. Standard retract servos run on 4.8V - 6V, 12V is not a good idea!!! Go to this site http://www.gibbsguides.com/article06-retract-power-supply.htm and follow the advice - you should be OK.

12v would fry the retract in a blaze of smoking glory. They are rated at the same voltage as a servo. Does this plane have landing gear doors? If so, they should plug into a sequence board.

Is this the 47 inch wing span Mustang? Did it come with "Y" connectors? Plug the aileron servos into a "Y" connector, both retracts into another "Y"?

Is the single wire really only one wire or are there 2 very small wires? Looks like it is for the wing tip LED?

Buzz.
