What are you guys planning to do/did do this weekend with respect to your RC-hobby?

Me:
1. Put new throttle servo on Exceed Forza
2. Tighten clutch bell on Exceed Forza (it came loose...my bad - LOCTITE!!)
3. Re-do fuel tubing on Losi 810
4. Diagnose weird noise coming from Hyper 7 (slight clanking sound when it rolls - gear mesh is fine...think it's a shaft or drive-cup)
5. Finally run Forza. ;-)

I took my rustler out for a good bashing on some baseball fields by my house.

Now im tying to figure out how to set-up the car so it can actually turn under throttle and not lift the front wheels and just push

I've been challenged to a drag(?) race by the local 12 year old here where our summer house is. He saw me running the Losi 22 outside the house and I've heard him running some nitro car in the past. Probably doesn't realise I'm going to bring the 6S Xray truggy, though I expect the Losi will also smoke him. I suppose the right thing to do would be to let him win at least one...then again, what did I buy all these expensive cars for? To lose? No...MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Took my Ofna DM-1 and LST2 #2 out yesterday, cuz both had had minor issues last time out(both were binding, and it turned out it was the brake linkages.. I HATE linkages..), so I just wanted to see if they were running now after a few minor tweeks.. Ran two tanks through each, and both ran great. The LST2 started binding again though, so I loosened the linkage thing on the gas servo, and it was much better - though the brakes were now weaker.. The Big Red was screaming - wheelying the truck like a champ. That engine is like three years old by now..(fairly seldom used though.. Maybe 5-8 gallons - not sure... Could be ten for all I know..) The LST2 ran so well in fact that I feel like busting the ramp out and getting some air. Have both LST2's charged and ready to go - but only a little over half a liter of fuel. Weather is great, so there are actually too many options.. Might just go for a long walk in wine country near the inlaws'..(but will have one LST2 in the car just in case I see a "spot"...)

One very, VERY lame thing about Germany is, almost everywhere has a "quiet period" from 1-3 (sometimes 12-2), which is really ****ty for running nitro. Cuts the day in half - pretty much doesn't make sense to run before 2.. (No, not gonna's start electric.. Nitro still rules. )

Well I was planning to have fun with my Comp Crawler, but to no avail. The Speed Passion brushless crawling motor I bought for it did not at all work from the box, so I talked to the seller and go my money back. So since I seem to be having bad luck with brushless crawling setups (that's the second brushless motor that's went south on me that was suppose to go in this crawler) I said screw it and threw in my old XL-5 and order an RC4WD 45t brushed motor to go with it. This should make things simpler and hopefully more reliable... I'm getting pretty fed up with this thing.

Dust off and build my Tamiya kit. Haven't had much time to touch it, and I have a lot left to work on.

That, and maybe test and tinker with some other cars.

Take my flux xs out for a good burst,

As the maiden run last weekend ended as a result a spur/ pinion misalignment less than 5 mins in,

Fitted a kershaw mount to my savage xl project, waiting now for my 2364kv motor to arrive this week,

Making up mounts to run my lipos between the xl chassis, right below the motor,

Installed the battery tray on my almost completed losi lst brushless conversion with 2250kv 3674 motor fitted on custom mount,

Went and checked out the competition at the track across town, however they didnt end up having a race. The drivers that were there though were not all that great for the most part.

I also am finishing up heat cycling the motor on my nitro buggy. Depending on when I get my full scale stock car running, I may have the cars racing as early as saturday. We will see.

I told one girfriend that I would be flying my R/C planes at my field so that I could really be with another woman.

Is that what you meant by asking about my R/C related plans?

got a fresh plug in the MGT 8.0, so I'm going to the BMX park if no one is there, if not I will just do some field bashing.

I wish a new plug would cure my 8.0 woes... Maybe I'll mess with that tomorrow.
Raced the D8T, new track has a massive double and I was hitting some big air on it, good fun!
