Hi all,

New to boats. Been in RC planes for 40 years.
Got this at a garage sale. I will tell you the price I paid at the end of my post. You are going to love it!

It's 52" long. Looks like a 26cc engine from my searches. Glass hull. Don't know if it's epoxy or polyester.
I have not tested it yet. Hull is in pretty good shape. Wing and supports need attention. Some monkey workmanship
here and there, but fixable.

Engine has tons of compression, so should run if properly set up.

I have researched the U-10 and it does not look like this boat. Anybody have any idea what I might have?

The top cover, (canopy, turbine and exhaust cover) is pretty rough, and mighty thin. I would like to get a new one, but I have no idea who made it,
or if they are still in business.

Here are a few pics. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Tony

Oh, almost forgot the best part, the garage sale price. $20.00. Asking price was $50.00. I was the only one interested in it.
Guess that was my lottery ticket.

Hull looks like a Hoover Hydro - http://www.hooverracing.com/html/winston.html

Motor looks like an old 23cc Zen. Be ok for a sport boat but not an ideal choice for a hydro with the options available today. I certainly would not sink too much $$ into the motor as on its best day it could not compete with any stock gas motor available. You did well though lots of work needed!
