I guess a person could email one of the venders. I really just started reading about them....I am not trying to promote them, but any engine kinda interests me.   I would be more interested in winning a few million DOLLARS !  Capt,n

captinjohn, thanks for the youtube link, thats 57 seconds of my life i will never get back.
so i guess from the posts, not many have been brave enough to try a eme60?
6600 on a 24-a seems rite along the power that the jc60 makes,between a dle55 and a da60.

I would like to see some info on your EME70

I got a Gaint P47 topflite Im building.  I currently have a DLE55 on the shelf on it, but I want a motor with more power and not much more weight and size.

Got any numbers?

yep i just like to know if it is a 70 sigle or a twin?couldn't get much info at the web site.
i also just bought a EME60 from MileHigh rc,and sent the cylinder and piston to Frank for a new ring.not sure if it was even needed. it didn't look like your run of the mill china ring, look more like a Frank Bowman ring,(dark in color).
also i check the ring gap on the stock ring it was .014,that seems ok for me,but Franks will be .001-.003,engine was clean and oiled on the inside too.
piston was larger than a 55 engine, they must have kept the 55 crankshaft, rather than going with a longer stroke like some do to make a 60 out of a 55.

I am on the look out for a 60cc motor, I am following this but so little info from people in the field. I may wait for the GP61 but that will be a lot more cash.

closetguy, do you always discard a stock ring and go with the Frank Bowman ring right from the start?

Thanks, Ernie

i know, i was thinkin what kind of nut job takes a new engine apart just to change a ring.it's just you get such a better seal with Franks rings and i like to start, if possible with a new bore and a new ring with no wear patterns in the bore from the ring before.after going through two DLE55's and seeing the difference the FB ring made i want to try it in the EME60 from the start.both the dle's had WAY better compression and they ran smoother with more rpm's.
just wanted this 60 to be every bit as good,it seems to get good rpm's rite up there with the best with the stock ring. and i have always tried to squeeze out every rpm that i can out of a engine, and paid the price sometimes along the way.

So you have to send him the piston and cylinder. Is that because it's is first ring job for this particular engine? What if I wanted a ring from him for my new DLE20cc, just order the ring?

Thanks again, Ernie

thats great to hear that, I really love my dle55 since it is so reliable and never had a dead stick in 4x dle55.

is  your EME60 reliable so far ? did you ever have a dead stick ?
Im going to get extreme flight hopefully at the  beggining of this coming year and it would be nice to put the EME60 in it since it has more power over the DLE55.

do you know if it has Japanese bearings or Chinese ?

thanks for all of your help and please keep us posted.
 many thanks
