Where do you folks locate the ESC? I tried to locate it on the side wall of the motor box but that interferes with forward location of the battery. I was thinking of making a small platform and located it below the battery line . ANy other suggestions? Tks

I do not know the model you are working with, but try and keep the leads as short as possible, and still get separation to keep one from heating the other. Your would be wise to have the ability to disconnect one lead of the battery for safety reason.

You mean to add a arming switch between one of the battery leads and the ESC.
