Hi ian, you will love it. Unfortunately due to family commitments I am unable to attend this year which is a shame as Winnie has some special attractions planned including Yves Rossy the Jetman on the Sunday. You will see the best of the best flying throught the weekend and all that's new displayed....not missing it already am I ?

Thanks Jester. Jetman will be awesome!!!

Taken a lot of domestic grovelling to get there. 4 of us going in a campavan and camping in site.

Perhaps we'll throw a Brits BBQ. Bring a bottle & Burger. Whose up for it?

Ian it's a blast, but I warn you of the Kero Bar!
Can't wait, loads to see, serious kit, you could almost OD on it!
Barbaque sounds good!
Have a good holiday speak when you get back!

Motors & Rotors 10th JetPower.
Think there was only us, Wren and maybe Permagrit at the first one from England. Sunday is an airshow and lots planned. We will start preparing after the Nationals clear up tomorrow/Wednesday.

Always a great weekend

Twelve dudes from Cyprus this year, but, alas, no Jim. He's too old to attend and, as he says, he will take the missus out for dinner, with the money, he was supposed to spend during JP!! Must be SOME DINNER!

I will be back. I just got fed up seeing the same jets, the same stalls, all in the same position, selling the same gear, year after year.
Have fun. Hope it doesn't rain to much .

Sounds like a fun event.  I took a look through the website but there wasn't a huge amount of information about how best to get there from International.  Is there a major airport nearby? I would be flying in from Ireland.

Fly into Bonn/Koln. Its 30 mins to the site down the A61 and German taxi's are not outrageous.

You can also go to Frankfurt/Main
It is 150km away from Bad Neuenahr.
Rent a car and all will be good.

Ferry from Dover to Calais with car and 2 people both ways £70 total and then 4 hour drive on the other side. Not a bad way to go if you live in striking distance of Dover
