PayPal is a good idea but that doesn't stop purchasers demanding money back from the likes of Visa.

Cash I think now is my preference. But PayPal may be a viable option.

Yes there is, this show is amazingly well organised. Ian, have you looked at Paypal lately as they have a system that connects to an Iphone to transfer money, worth a look but whether you can set it up in time is another matter.

I have the PayPal app set up for sending or requesting payments. Is that the one?

Only 6 days to go. Weather doesn't look that brilliant. Changing all the time though.

https://www.izettle.com

Pretty cool device which works with iPhone and Samsung Galaxy series. I got one for free to try out and it works as advertized. As with paypal someone has to pay for the services.

Izettle looks to be a very useful item, I have always just got guys to use their cards through paypal on my site, but this will be ideal for customers who don't use paypal. You can even do a manual entry as well for over the phone stuff.
Seems ideal for what Ian wants, but I see Germany is not on the list yet, I wonder being resident and bank in UK will it still work in other countries?

I have not tried it abroad yet, but feel free to try and pay me some $$ at Jetpower ;-) We thought of useing it at our club events to make it easier for those who attend. All of a sudden you bought something and got no money for food or drink at the event, then iZettle or mpowa solves the problem.

iZettle does not work in Germany currently according the the web site.

Looking forward to another JP, bringing a nice selection of accessories, a few jets and the new 'electro-brakes' - handing out a complimentary sticker sheet to all customers (who buy something ) until there gone so be sure to pop by the GBRJET stand, in the corner of the hall near Pirotti.

Ian they are not retracts but electric brakes, and not electron electric brakes either, these are our own design/manufactured for retro fitting to existing gear which currently run air and customers want the simplicity of electric

See you there.

Thanks Ian makes sense now as I was trying to find npowa not mpowa.

izettle is not setup in germany but I'd say more for the banking end of things, would be worth contacting them to find out, because all you are doing is making contact by phone/internet to their/your account which will not be in Germany anyway.
