great idea.....I do think he should have a little metal ear or something that hangs over the edge so that the spring doesn't have that sharp bend at the top, I see that as being a bit of a weak point where it might break sooner or later...

Hello DirtyBird69,
Yes I do agree.  By the way SUGO has been thinking something further about the 1st,2nd,5th roadwheel struts....in real bulldog there are no coilsprings there!!! what we could see are only shockabsorbers. So he is thinking of the coilsprings elimination in this moment.

NOTE: There are no coilsprings in real bulldog struts.

Hi all,
After discussing with SUGO,  we are aiming for specific upgrades as follow,

1. Hide the coil  springs at the 1st.2nd. and 5th. struts of bulldog. (Also for M26)

2.Remaking  of the HL M26 suspension .

So meantime SUGO is preparing all the necessary stuffs and he might be ready to start  within 2 weeks.
We will come back with new posts about 1 and 2

Note : left photo..... this coil spring will be hidden inside of the shock absorber cylinder
            mid. photo....real M26 suspension.
            left photo....HL wrong suspension......It won't be long.

We'll be back at the middle of september....  bye.

These look great!  Loved the videos (btw...thanks for the tip on my YouTube video...I would've missed this thread without it).  Any progress on decisions to produce these as kits?  I'd love to get the upper shafts and springs.  Any progress on the shock absorbers or the M26 suspension?

BTW...HennTec already does an idler adjuster and metal road wheels for both the M41 and the M26.  If you can beat their price, you'd be onto something.

Hello philipat,
Thank you for you comment  . As I knew SUGO has 3 or 4 tanks from friends parking in his room waiting for modifications ...
One of them is HL M26  of which he plans to correct the suspension and transform it to be Super Pershing.
About the kit making ....may be in the future SUGO might produce them , I hope.
Thank you once again.

Why go through all the trouble for such an out of scale model?

Because it's a fun model and why not improve the glaring errors that you can improve?

Hi gentlemen,
So far we have a lot of funs  improving HLs and found that we spent economic amount on those rc.tanks.
Last month my son bought me a second handed WSN T34/85 then SUGO has been modifying it .....480 motors with steel gears with HL boards and the budget is so small...67 for tank, 8 for motors and free for the gears, boards, radio (present from friends)  so 75 US. dollars totally.
When we modify HLs there are many stuffs remain unuse such as boards, radios, gears and we oftenly give the stuffs to friends.

Couple days ago SUGO has just finished his custom made track tension adjuster for his friend's HL Panther G.
It's  a gift for his friend.
Note: I 'll post this matter in another topic name.

Looks great!  Would love to see a few of these things get sold as kits...or the CAD drawings with specifications.  I could have my brother make these for me.
