hi all im new to this forum and the world of flying rc helis. i have flown afew coax helis and found it really fun so i decided to buy a fp 4ch heli to learn with. this is the one i went for in the end http://www.rc-hobbies.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=40_279_322&products_id=2791

reasons for buying was its cheap and i dont want to spend loads to learn with in case i smash it up.

well heres my problem, when trimming the heli my trim for the right stick is all the way to the right and the heli still pulls left. i have checked all the balance to the heli and its fine. not sure if the servo rods can be adjusted because its a cheap heli. any ideas on what the problem may be? or am i doing something wrong? is my gyro broke?

also i have a seperate dial (not a trim slider) at the top left of my controller that i can adjust the tail rotor speed with. could that be a problem? and if so how should i set it?

i have looked all over the internet about this dial and cannot find anything.

i would be happy for any help, as im willing to learn and listen to any advise that will assit me in my new heli hobby
many thanks for taking the time to read my post

The link didn't go through for me.  But to try to answer your question sight unseen.  Any adjustment controlling the tail rotor will control the "spin", or yaw of the heli.  If the heli is side  slipping, roll, it is a good indication that the swashplate is in need of adjustment/leveling.  This is done by adjusting the links from the servos.  Not seeing what your heli is like I can only suggest trying to find an online manual from the seller/manufacturer or possible see if there is a video for a similar heli on Youtube.  Try searching youtube under RC helicopters fixed pitch.  Good luck.

thank you for your response and i will try to get a pic of heli on here if i can. im not sure the servo rods can be adjusted as they are not screwed at either end, one end looks like its pushed on and the other end is just a rod that goes through a plastic bar with 3 holes in. hope this helps abit

if it's a yaw to the left you might try sliding the tail boom out of it's holder a bit say 2 to 5 mm
it that's not enough slide the tail motor holder out a bit
this worked on my GW9958

How severe is it? If you just mean that you have to hold some right aileron in to keep it from drifting left that's completely normal for any helicopter with a tail rotor. RC helis have to hover leaning to the right a bit, it's more pronounced on the smaller ones.

If it's a drastic pull or so severe that you can't correct it then something is probably wrong with your setup.

And not to kick you while you're down, but now you're learning the joys of flying a cheap helicopter. If you had bought something better, you'd be flying now instead of fixing. I hope you're able to figure out what they did wrong at the factory and get this one working, but even if you do, your financial investment plus your time investment will wind up be more than a quality heli would have been.
