That makes sense. I didnt think about the ailerons being out of the thrust line. I honestly think that with the extra it's more due to the pilot than the airframe.

On a good 100cc Ultimate, the prop wash should reach everything, I rarely disagree.
Remember the old BME 100cc Ultimate 300? The average pilot could make it unlimited and it was not even a pure 3D design.
It could hover solid and torque on demand.
