If anyone is interested I have found the paint match for the commonly used red on Carf models. Eurosport, Old flash, Rookie and probably a few others. It is a GM color and is called Torch Red. Used on 1995-about 2002 or so Corvettes. It is a perfect match and any paint store can mix it with this info. If you want it in a rattle can DupliColor used to sell it but no longer make it. You can still find it around if you search. Scotty

Brilliant. Thanks for this. Did you work out a match for the white paint they use?
Cheers

Hi GSR.

It looks like there are two versions of GM Torch Red. One has code 70-9075 and the other is 70-9076. Do you happen to know which of these is the match?

Thanks

Andrew

The four digit codes are used to signify at what plant the car was manufactured at, to differentiate between the car and truck code and sometimes whether the car was made in the States or overseas. As a general rule of thumb the lower the number usually refers to the most widely used version of the color. Home sick from work today, can look both codes up tomorrow and tell you for certain.

9075 is the correct code 70 for the given year range. WA9076 was used from 90-91 only, non clearcoat version of 9075.
