the tray just fits my 2s 5000mah 40c gensace lipos as shown in the pics a few post back so anything thinker then them id say youll need another tray

are you able to measure the inside width and inside length of the battery tray? preferrably in millimeters!

here you go   id say minus half a mm to be safe

149.84L  26.03W    MM

on a side note i used the scrt servo mount that came with the battery tray tree makes it look atliitle better then just then it did it my first set of pics
you can see it alittle bit in the length pic

hey guys,
If anyone's interested,..I'm selling a lot of 2 of these kits.
I was asking $200 for the entire lot.
I've listed it on ebay a few weeks ago, but not on RCU...
Here's the details:

Here we have almost two 1/12th scale OFNA Jammin CRT.5 nitro powered Truggy kits. One of the kits is fully assembled and ready to run
with an HPI Racing 2.4ghz radio system with built in fail safe. (brand new radio system used 3 times with this vehicle) and JAmmin Force
.12 Nitro engine..
I built this kit about 1 year ago and have used it about 15 times.

I purchased the second kit so that I would have a set of back up parts. And I've only scavenged about 15% of this second kit.

So, this deal comes with the following features:
-One ready to run truggy with a pull start Jammin Force .12 nitro engine that is
extremely reliable and well taken care of.
-4WD with 3 oil filled diffs & all metal
gears
-aluminum threaded shocks for maximum adjustability
-front & rear universals made of hardened steel
-CNC machined anodized aluminum shock towers in front & back
-full rubber sealed bearings
-carbon fiber one piece radio tray
-long suspension arms with total ride adjustability
- tuned exhaust pipe
-front & rear disc brakes
-proline bow tie tires
-2.4ghz radio system
-and low center of gravity make this truggy just about impossible to roll even at high speeds.
You also get the extra approx 85% complete back-up truggy kit which includes most of the
same features as the RTR above plus another 2 additional spare aluminum chassis'.

If anyone has questions, wants to see photos or is interested in buying, please contact me at 917 657 7246

Dude, a little harsh there? Lol.

Seriously though... RCU has an excellent classified section.

Sorry, but usually I'm dead on. Guy had only 1 or 2 posts, and his post was an ad - sorry if I jumped the gun, but I've seen that LOT here, and 99% of the time it's a no-good spammer.

My apologies peekay - as yakfish pointed out, there is a Classifieds section, and posting ads in threads is not permitted here. Good luck!

For what it's worth, they still haven't deleted your post. [8|]

Anybody tried the Ofna HV Type Motor mount on these trucks? I am about to order the mount and the parts tree for the conversion. looks like a nicer mount than the standard mount.

Looks pretty cool, haven't seen that before!

tyhatts -> RE: Ofna Jammin CRT.5 1/12 Truggy Build Thread and E-Conversion (10/24/2012 7:35 PM)

Are these trucks still available ? Doesnt seem like it .... checked towerhobbies and just saw hop-ups and what not

Eman77 -> RE: Ofna Jammin CRT.5 1/12 Truggy Build Thread and E-Conversion (10/24/2012 7:42 PM)

Last I checked, OfnaWarehouse stopped selling them. Maybe ebay? I'm pessimistic that price will be reasonable there though, if it's not elsewhere on the web.

tower hasn't had them for years if at all
only reason you see part is they share a good chunk with the nexx, and scrt10 which were semi popular.

hmm wonder if ofna finally canned the truggy kit seeing I don't see it on ofnawarehouse anymore

Wish I bought a few more

crt .5 getting discontinued?

Yes.

Best Regards,
JR

says the guy from ofnawarehouse

SyCo_VeNoM -> RE: Ofna Jammin CRT.5 1/12 Truggy Build Thread and E-Conversion (10/25/2012 1:36 AM)

could always buy the SCRT10, and slap it on the chassis which they still sell ;)

I just went ahead and ordered the regular mount as I know it works. I am also considering dropping in a Mamba monster motor and I'm not sure if I would be able to fabricate the HV mount to work with a larger diameter motor. With the standard mount fabrication will be easy. I have a couple Tekin Redline 8.5t motor that I got as part of a trade so I will start with,one of them a see how they work. But I think a mamba 2650 might be in this little trucks future!

Eman77 -> RE: Ofna Jammin CRT.5 1/12 Truggy Build Thread and E-Conversion (10/25/2012 10:01 PM)

Seriously? You're going to jam a 1/8 motor into this 1/12? I guess you'll put the drive train to the test. :)

When I ran it as nitro I had a Weeks B6 .21 race engine. So yeah, overkill is what I do!

SyCo_VeNoM -> RE: Ofna Jammin CRT.5 1/12 Truggy Build Thread and E-Conversion (10/26/2012 4:00 AM)

shessh over kill
I have a 1/8th mamba in my Jammin X1 CRT, and it wants to back flip on the slightest throttle input cant imagine it in this.
At least nitro doesn't have 100% torque the second you gun it and takes way longer to rev up.

echthelion -> RE: Ofna Jammin CRT.5 1/12 Truggy Build Thread and E-Conversion (10/26/2012 5:45 AM)

imo i think the 2400kv castle system would be good
