I've been running 10% nitro in my 40 sized engines (two TT GP 42s and two TT Pro 46s) since I started flying glow in August. I will be picking up a couple of gallons of 15% for the first time as part of a group buy from my club. Will the increased nitro content get me any power? I'm guessing if it does, it will probably be a marginal increase. Does higher nitro content get engines to transition and idle better? Most of the folks at our field run 15%, but I've stayed with 10% because I'm running in new engines, and TT recommends staying with a max of 10% during break-in.

Thanks!

F2,
Read the Fuel Faq's, its the top post on the forum.

Going to 15% from 10% in the engines you listed should not hurt anything. Both the engines you listed are of ringless design which like at least some castor in the fuel.

Higher nitro will require you to richen the needle a bit.
