I already have a RCM Z drive and im looking for another RCM Z drive if anyone has one. I have cash waiting.

I have been offered an MHZ Z drive that looks exactly the same as my RCM but are they internally?
Is the RCM Geared up 16%????

With thanks

Jack

That would be great rcguy!!! What loctite are you using to glue the shafts into place?
I think I might buy the MHz on and put it on the back with my rmck one. Give them both a lick of paint!
Cheers guys
Jack

The MHZ drive should have a square input and so not need loctite. The RCM drive use Loctite 648 retaining compound for the flex cable/input gear.

Once you remove the setscrew i use a small flat screwdriver to gently work the bearing out it comes out fairly easy just be carefull i want to make a tool that will spread apart that i can place in the flexshaft retainer so i can just pull the assembly out i have not tried to remove the output shaft im not shure how its held in if its a press fit or threaded ihave an S6 drive i want to pull apart as well but have not pulled one apart as of yet post pics of your build im going to put my drives on a Expresscraft 60" MTI using rear exhaust RCMK K30 s from holding he drives upto the boat it going to look sweet hope to get in the 60mph range anything above will just be iceing on the cake

Well, they have only one and is defective, so goodbye arrowshark

About mhz Usa,be careful, do not buy from them, Shirley told me that Mhz Usa does not work anymore, more than a year, they are not able to delivery MHZ parts anymore, if you want them you will have to take it in Germany, but no problem, they ship worldwide.

Regards
