My son's Scout troop got a donation of some 1/2 A kits. Some will use Bee type back plates and some are rail mounts. We will take anything you don't need. I have another person who offered some misc. parts so I will have to mix and match to put some engines together.

In the mean time, how many folks can help the boys put the kits together correctly? What kind of kits are they? You can switch engines between planes if necessary so all boys get to fly their plane.

You will find the "Bee" type back plate mounting referred to as "radial" mounting. The rail mounts are called "beam" mounts.

What about tools, glue, paint, etc.

BTW, I have been a Scouter for over 31 years.

George

I only got a quick look at the kits. Some were Goldberg, Sterling and some other off brands. We have a hobby shop for supplies, but they are useless for anything else. They sell electric airplanes and cars. I was into 1/2 A a while back, but got rid of most of it. They boys had no interest at the time.

Since you have made your intent and objective public, i wonder why can't you re-direct the Cox items you are selling on Ebay for your son's Scout group? After all, you do sell a considerable amount of Cox goods on Ebay each week.

Its a shame some folks today make it so hard to do nice things for others.
