That is a very good looking truck. It would be nice to fashion it after a US 2 1/2 ton ( deuce an half). You would need to box the front fenders. Change the front bumper. Move the aircleaner to the other side and just have the bonnet protrude from the side plate. You could leave the hard top or convrt it to canvass as they had both type of cab roofs. I personnelly prefer the canvass roof as I think it looks better. To really get close to a deuce, you would also have to remove the drivers side exhaust and put a curve on the passenger side exhaust. Just some thoughts. I would love to do such a build myself as I drove a deuce for many years and think it is an outsnding truck ( looks cool too ) but I have so many other projects to finish. I don't see that I would ever have the time.
Nice build and thanks for sharing. I look foward to your video. I also want echo Rex's comment on your canvass. Looks very real.

Jim

WSN, I have to agree with the other folks, your truck looks great. What a turn-around from the original to a very neat army vehicle.Top canvas is perfect.

WSN wnderful model and looks like an easy conversion.

The Tamiya trucks are a great platform for all kinds of tractor vehicles and very reliable!

Does AFV have extra wide float tires?

Very nice build and use of materials!!!! Are you planning on smoke? Would look cool with both stacks pumping out some exhaust.

Some videos with this truck  with Benedini TBS mini sound unit. I modiefied original sound tbs project , changing some original and adding new sound samples taken from Youtube. Unfortunatelly the place in my room for this presentation  is strongly limited.
