Amazing.
I suppose that there is $200 worth of "education" in that kit for someone who is just getting started, though.

Caveat emptor!

It's a $70 kit and a good half that cost is the plans, the box and the trouble of sorting and packing the parts. I have a little insight on that subject..

I have one more, but i'll keep it and use the kit to make a duplicate for myself. I want to put my VR-P on it.

You know, by the time you order parts, run around gathering, machine to shape/size, the kit price is a deal even if you buy/make enough nicknacks to build a dozen or so. I too have done this.

The regular kit price is just fine, I agree 100%.

My 1st Diamond Dust was built with scrap wood from photos that were posted here on build threads. The only item I had to go out and get that was "out of the ordinary" was the 3/8" fiberglass spar. I built mine with spruce leading edges and made little 1/8" ply gussets in some of the key areas to help tie in the main frame members.
I never have built one with a circular antenna tube, FG leading edges or a 1/8" plywood motor mount...that I can recall.
Building one of these things is about like building a motorized kite.
I think a kit could be "boxed" in a mailing tube?

I have carbon dowel, sheet, fabric and glass coming out of my ears in the shop, plus balsa. I can trace several kits out easily if I sat down in there and got to it. Stuff has acculilated over the years of building. I'd like to fully glass sheet my next one. Give it a real airfoil.
